Finnish Regional Paper to Install Anygraaf Systems
Local publication to automate production
HELSINKI, FINLAND — June 16, 2011 — Finnish newspaper, JP Kunnallissanomat, has
chosen Anygraaf for its publishing software needs. The installation will include the Neo publishing
system, AProfit ad management system, CProfit sales and distribution system and the ePlanner website
management system.
A key issue in the decision to choose Anygraaf's software was the existence of a complete
publishing solution for the 6,600 circulation newspaper. CEO Matti Kakela stated "We wanted a turnkey
solution for our entire system. Choosing Anygraaf enabled us to obtain all of the publication systems
we required from one supplier."
The Neo publishing system is a framework for the control and management of the editorial enterprise.
It includes documents, editorial resources, event calendars, ideas, projects, plans and planning tools.
Internal archives as well as the Internet can be accessed from within Neo, centralizing and simplifying data
searches. Neo addresses the challenges of the publishing industry by providing advanced tools for communication,
efficient ways of routing material to multiple publishing channels, instant messaging and a variety of asset
classification options.
AProfit offers complete functionality for booking, billing and tracking ads. Ad order entry and ad
tracking are managed within a system that integrates with asset management and page and edition planning solutions.
AProfit delivers time savings and offers customers greater access with capabilities to book ads, submit material and
approve proofs via the Internet. AProfit lets users book, track and plan ad placement from one common system.
CProfit is a sales and distribution system that allows publications to administer all subscription,
delivery and customer information via one interface. It provides semi-automated customer maintenance and all
subscription input is guided by default values that can be tailored for each publication's needs. CProfit integrates
with the AProfit ad management suite allowing AProfit to handle all of the billing for subscriptions entered in CProfit.
The ePlanner website management system integrates with the Neo publishing system to automatically build and
maintain a publication's website. ePlanner offers a visual interface through which web pages are defined and planned
and content is automatically extracted from the Neo system for formatting and placement. Additionally, ePlanner offers
tools for article and freestanding comment forums, polls, galleries, archive searches, blogs and multimedia presentations. Doris ePaper will also be installed at the newspaper; Doris ePaper publishes an exact replica of the printed
edition online. Through Doris ePaper, readers can see the paper online exactly as it appeared in print, browse the paper
page-by-page then highlight and click on any ad, image or article to view it in full detail. Readers can also perform full
text searches, view each page as a PDF and browse section by section.
Installation is expected to be completed by Q1 of 2012.
