Caribbean daily live with Doris32 editorial system

FREDERICK, MARYLAND — December 8, 2010 — Uitgeverij Amigoe NV, publisher of the daily newspaper Amigoe in Curaçao, has implemented Anygraaf's Doris32 editorial system and Planner edition management and ad layout system. The publication, with a circulation of about 10,000, has gone live with the system and is using Doris for content management, image management, print production workflow and archiving. The daily edition of Amigoe in Aruba is also being produced with the Doris system.

The Doris32 asset management and publishing production system is a multi-channel production system, allowing for a write-once, publish-many environment, letting users easily manage content for print and electronic media at the same time. It is a robust, full-featured publishing production software solution that can meet the needs of newspapers, magazines and various other types of publications. It delivers integrated archiving and management for many document types including articles, images, pages and graphics as well as audio and video clips. Doris provides the basis for a true all media publishing solution.

The Planner edition management and ad layout system will serve as a bridge for dynamic bi-directional support for display and classified ad layout, as well as automatic placement of ad reservations and ad material directly on the pages managed in the editorial system.

Sales and installation of the system were handled by Intergraph Corporation, Anygraaf's distribution partner in the Caribbean. The system will integrate with Adobe® InDesign® for page layout.
