HomeTown Media Group Running Planner

FREDERICK, MARYLAND — February, 18, 2009 — HomeTown Media Group has automated the layout of its weekly publications with Anygraaf's Planner edition management and ad layout system.

The Planner ad layout system will be used for display ad layout for all of HomeTown Media's weekly publications with a combined circulation of roughly 36,000. In addition to Planner, Anygraaf organized workflow with its Doris CMS that centralizes the scheduling and management of ad bookings in a common system, giving sales representatives a common area from which to manage their work and schedule ads for each addition.

Planner will provide the advertising department the means to plan each publication while placing display ads either manually or automatically. Departments will have the means to reserve ad space as well as track the status of ads as they move through the production process. At the same time, the production department will have the ability to monitor the overall production status of each publication on a continuous basis. Planner is configured to integrate with Adobe® InDesign® at HomeTown Media allowing for automatic placement of print-ready ads on pages.

The system is saving the company a considerable amount of time each week in the planning and production of its weeklies, says publisher Howard Sturman.
