Anygraaf Announces New Tools for Web
Management
Doris ePlanner and eSales provide intelligent
control for web-based publications
FREDERICK, MD — April 17, 2007 —
Anygraaf is proud to announce an extension to the Doris family of
products with the introduction of Doris ePlanner and Doris eSales.
Introduction of both to the North American market is scheduled for
NEXPO 2007 in Orlando, Florida this month.
ePlanner
Doris ePlanner is an intelligent, visually oriented tool for the
creation and control of web-based publications; ePlanner allows
you to plan, build and manage your website via an easy-to-use graphical
interface. ePlanner provides robust functionality including automatic
information feeds, section control, material definitions and more.
Doris ePlanner is an integrated component of
the Doris32 publishing production system; as such, content can be
managed from within Doris. ePlanner’s flexibility allows for
management of content from other external sources, such as ads,
as well. As data is published to the web, it is converted into XHTML/XML;
this allows for content and layout to be stored separately to aid
in ease of modification.
Web page planning is dynamically changeable with
Doris ePlanner. Content can be placed on a page automatically, or
can be placed manually via the drag & drop function. ePlanner
collects all materials, as well as the publication information associated
with each item, and automatically publishes the content to a website.
Cross-linking of content across your website is managed with just
a few clicks of the mouse. Administration of multiple websites,
as well as multiple versions of the same website, is
virtually effortless with Doris ePlanner.
ePlanner provides the status of all materials
assigned to a page, including publication date, number of views,
location of article within the publication, and more. The article
statistics, such as number of views, are also stored in a database
for later analysis. Materials can also be scheduled for automatic
publication and/or removal from the web on a specific date and time.
eSales
Doris eSales provides publications with a flexible solution for
product sales via the web. eSales integrates seamlessly into the
paper that is built via Doris ePlanner. eSales allows publications
to offer a variety of products and packages to their customers via
the web. Some products offered may be print subscriptions, online
subscriptions, online archive access, or packages combining a variety
of product options. Multiple payment processing options are available
via eSales as well.
Limitations can also be implemented for subscriptions
via eSales. For instance, an online archive subscription may be
for only a single day or week, or even for a certain number of hours,
from the date and time of purchase. An online publication subscription
may be limited to certain sections or certain days of the week.
Both Doris ePlanner and Doris eSales allow for
integration of the Doris ePaper engine as well as the entire Doris
product family.
