FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

United Communications Corporation Chooses Anygraaf

Kenosha News and Attleboro Sun Chronicle to implement Anygraaf’s editorial system

FREDERICK, MD — July 27, 2006 —

The installation at each site will include the Doris32 asset management and publishing production system, as well as the Planner edition management and ad layout system. Pagination for the editorial system will utilize Adobe® InDesign®.

The Doris32 system includes integrated archiving and management for many document types including articles, images, pages and graphics as well as audio and video clips. Doris32 is a multi-channel production system, allowing for a write once, publish many environment, letting users easily and effortlessly manage content for print and electronic media at the same time.

The Planner edition management and ad layout system will serve as a bridge for dynamic bidirectional support for display and classified ad layout, as well as automatic placement of ad reservations and ad material directly on the Adobe InDesign pages managed in the editorial system. Planner will interface with the Brainworks™ ad booking system at The Kenosha News and with the NewzWare™ ad booking system in Attleboro.

Doris ePaper will also be installed at each publication; Doris ePaper publishes an exact replica of the printed edition online. Through Doris ePaper, readers can see the paper online exactly as it appeared in print, browse the paper page-by-page then highlight and click on any ad, image or article to view it in full detail. Readers can also perform full text searches, view each page as a PDF and browse section by section.

Installation at both papers is planned for fall of 2006.
